The NFL Season is coming to an end but who will be in Superbowl XLII?

This NFL season has been an emphatic period of many ups and downs, tragedies and historical moments being made right before our very eyes. With all the hoopla and fuss about the Vick Dog scandal, many thought that the NFL would be a drag to watch (which technically was true about watching the Dirty Bird’s season go completely down the drain), but it has turned out to be one of the most historical and exciting seasons ever. The unstoppable and untouchable Patriots have been the ideal subject in most people’s conversions, blogs, and head stories. They have almost completed an utterly unthinkable feat this season with just a few more games to go before they make their potential mark in history.

T.O. and the Cowboys have been on a fast moving train ever since the beginning of the season with the soon to be prototype season numbers from the young Tony Romo. He is the key to molding the Cowboy’s future to excel to their destiny of returning to the likes of the memorable dynasty status formed by Aikmen, Smith, and Sanders.

Another last minute miracle was seen on the last Sunday right before the new year when the Washington Redskins soared past Romo and the Cowboys which left them with a sour taste defeat of 27-6. Despite all the hardships and despair that these players had to go through with the loss of their one of a kind leader/pro bowler Sean Taylor, they still were able to surpass all the negative expectations and feedback they received throughout this season. The comrodity and teamwork seen by the Redskins this year really shows how much heart and determination a team has, regardless of the boneheaded last minute game decisions of prior coach Joe Gibbs; they were still able to have their playoff rebirth.

Most fans are waiting for another heated rivalry between the last year champ Colts and New England, but the Colts and Payton will have to either put up or shut up this weekend against the San Diego Chargers. This will be a crucial game in determining how efficient and entertaining the NFC championship game will actually be. The Cowboys have a pretty easy path towards the chip game so Eli better be on his A+ game to the utmost degree if they plan to even have a chance against Romo and the boys.

Stay tuned as the race to Superbowl XLII…..

This is just an applause to the GREATEST player since Magic, Jordan and Bird to ever grace the hardwood floor, and his name is Kobe Bryant. Since the trade rumors before the start of the 07′-08′ season, Kobe has been playing like a complete mad man being unleashed like Jet Li in that one movie. His entire game has evolved to a level which is out of this world, LITERALLY! He can keep an opponent at his own will which makes it exscrutiatingly hard to keep him contained because you are not going to STOP him. Check out some of his mindboggling stats this week which gave him Player of the Week nominations next to Toronto’s Chris Bosh.
